TWEEDIES BAR GRASMERE LAKE DISTRICT

Below i have put some pictures of tweedies bar which is owned by the same people who run the dale lodge hotel grasmere in the lake district. These photos were taken in 2008 when they had there beer festival, since they were taken tweedies bar has had a large refit to give this popular venue more space. It can be found in the good beer guide 2010 and is also not short on regulars and visitors to this very nice area of grasmere.

NORTHWICH VICTORIA F.C 2ND BEER FESTIVAL 2010

It was great to see that the guys from northwich victoria football club had decided to hold there second beer festival this year, after the success of the very first one last year. Below i have put the list of beers and ciders that were on offer at the festival, A big shout out goes to andy and the guys who gave up there own time to organise this festival, and to mike from beer festival services who setup the bar.

BARNTON CRICKET CLUB BRANCH CLUB OF THE YEAR 2010

A very big Congratulations to Barnton Cricket Club in cheshire who have won the branch club of the year 2010 from camra north cheshire branch. The cricket club have won this title before and this goes to show that after some very serious hard work by Mike and the rest of the staff it is something that the club and all its members should be very proud of. Below i have put some bottled lagers that are worth a try, lager itself gets such a bad name and reputation this is because in my opinion that lots of people tend to associate it with young people and the trouble it causes. These lagers come from all over the world and they seem to be some of the best i have tasted. They are now becoming more available in the main supermarkets , but they tend to be a little bit more expensive than the most popular lagers. There are also some online shops where you can also buy these beers , just have a look around and d'ont forget the delivery charge that is added on to your purchase.
