BEER TYPES

Well in the world of beer you certainly are spoilt for choice, wether it be lager, bitter, mild, porter, stout .light beers, golden beers, dark beers, the list go's on,everyone of us is different, but then again where would we be without choices.Below is a breif discription to the best of my knowledge(i am not an expert in this field) of the most popular beer types we come across.

MILD
once one of the most popular drinks ,mild gets it flavour from the well roasted malts and barley that go into it,along with ,chocolate, coffee and caramel.dark in colour this beer in these times is looked upon as a old persons drink.which in my opinion is simply not true, brewers have seen a slight revival in mild, and given that may has been chosen as mild month shows there must still be a market for it.

BITTER

like in the title bitter gets its taste from hop aroma which is achieved from adding hops very late on in the process, even as late as just before distribution to its destination, bitters range in colour from bronze to golden, and now seem to be the preferred choice behind lagers.

LAGER

comes in many different styles anything from ,vienna lager, special lager, american lager, this drink is the one you will see most of.very popular with young drinkers, this was more than likely there first taste of beer, light in colour this ranges from low% to very high %.

STOUT

dark in colour stout contains various types of malt such as, roasted malt and caramel malt and a generous amount of hops.

I.P.A
